MY FRIEND’S HOUSE is committed to providing opportunities for the local church to engage with their neighbors, coworkers, and peers. Recently, we discovered a tool for praying for your neighbors that we would love to pass on to you. This tool is provided through a ministry called Bless Every Home. Bless Every Home provides a way to track praying for your neighbors. You can even make a prayer request list for each neighbor. There is also a way to receive a reminder to pray for your neighbors each day. The reminder comes with a scripture to pray too!

You will be amazed at what starts to happen when you daily pray for your neighbors. Ask God to provide ways to engage with them. Working in the yard, stopping at the mailbox, or even bringing a neighbor some cookies are all ways to get to know your neighbors, so don’t overlook these opportunities.

Remember, prayer is the most important part of engaging with your neighbors. Think of it as partnering with God. He will open up opportunities to engage with your neighbors. Most of all the Holy Spirit will help you.
