It Starts with Two

It starts with two. You make the call, reach out, invite. Invitation was accepted. Now, you wait.

You have to be willing to patiently wait. If you are in a hurry, it won’t work if you’re reaching out to someone that has been isolated, alone with thoughts of doubt flooding their mind.

Now that you made the call and the invitation was accepted, it was time to wait. Your wait was about 45 minutes. You receive multiple texts apologizing for being late. You assure him that that he was worth wait.

He arrives and is taken back that you would wait. You assure him that he’s worth waiting for.

“Worth? Worth it?”

“Yes, you are worth waiting for.”

Then the beautiful connection that had been lost begins to take place. Two hours of conversation…nonstop. And you say to yourself, “Definitely worth the wait.”
