Discipleship 101

Discipleship is the core mission of the church. This is a problem for those that see themselves as followers of Christ yet prefer to stay home instead of meeting in person with other believers. You cannot disciple others, nor can you be discipled yourself if you are not committed to fellowshipping with other believers. Discipleship takes living out your faith in front of and alongside others.

MY FRIEND’S HOUSE provides places to engage with others outside of church buildings where meaningful conversations can take place. These various “meet ups” are meant for the purpose of discipleship.

Engagement opportunities also serve as ways to “do life” together. It gives the world the chance to see how the church loves each other. They are opportunities to show our humanness and how Christ loves us with all our imperfections.

The video below is the first of a five-part series on discipleship. MFH hopes that you will find this series helpful as you build relationships with your neighbors, coworkers and friends.
