In the previous post, we talked about the importance of community if you are going to be a disciple of Jesus. Following Jesus requires time with Him, paying attention to what He is teaching and learning. It also, requires community to practice what you are learning.

Many Christians today, for various reasons, have seen no harm in studying the scriptures at home and listening to sermons online. The problem with this is that it will stunt the growth of the individual as well as the growth of the Church. What you learn is not only for your growth, but for the growth of others.

Make it a habit to not only learn from Jesus alone at home, but also be committed to gathering to learn from Jesus with other believers.
